The Social Entrepreneurship Diaries – ervaringen en onderzoek in europees verband

The Social Entrepreneurship Diaries is een serie podcasts over social entrepreneurship and social enterprise (SE), waarbij de focus ligt op de ervaringen in Europa en het onderzoek aspect.
Elke week wordt er een nieuw onderwerp belicht, startend op 9 maart 2016. De podcast is in het engels.

Het is een co-produktie van  se.lab, the EMES International Research Network and Impact Hub Amsterdam.

Om sociaal ondernemerschap in het Europa van vandaag te begrijpen, moeten we terug naar de alternatieve economische actoren die hand in hand verscheen met massa kapitalisme kijken, in een poging om de democratie en rechtvaardigheid in de economie te bevorderen. De coöperatieve beweging is een fundamenteel onderdeel van deze geschiedenis, die begint in XVIII eeuwse Engeland met de Industriële Revolutie.

De volgende onderwerpen staan op stapel :

Ep. 04 – Financing social ventures : what are the possibilities?

Ep. 05 – The role of the “community”. Can social entrepreneurship strengthen local bonds, and vice versa, in the globalized world?

Ep. 06 – Governance. The modus operandi of social enterprises. How does social apply to the internal practices of the organization itself?

It is hosted by Andreia Barbosa, a Portuguese journalist in quest of ideas for sustainable, ecological and inclusive ways of life. The Social Entrepreneurship Diaries are Andreia’s personal account of her travels in European social entrepreneurship. She organizes the contributions of different makers and thinkers (through interviews and chronicles) comparing and questioning the findings she makes along the way. Institutional producers provide advice and support at various levels, including access to knowledge and practice as well as production and communication expertise.
